Good Start!

The Mustangs got the new Wrestling year started right as the Varsity is off to a 3-0 start and the JV is 2-1. The varsity earned wins over Legend (58-15), Mountain Range (46-18), and ThunderRidge (60-18). The boys have looked very impressive and that momentum will be needed for upcoming competition.

The next dual is at home on Tuesday (12/13) against #1 ranked Pomona. This will be an exciting match with several key battles that will decide the war.

Then the stangs will travel to Gillette, WY. for a dual tournament against some of the best teams in Wyoming and Montana. Stay tuned for results and…On Ponderosa!
K-8th Grade Wrestlers

For all interested in getting their son(s) or daughter(s) involved in our Junior Wrestling Program, there will be an informational meeting on Thursday, October 27th. The meeting will take place at Ponderosa High School in the cafeteria from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The feeder program is “Parker Sons of Thunder” and is one of the elite programs in the country. Whether your child is a beginner, intermediate, or advanced PSOT provides instruction for all levels and abilities.

The Ponderosa Wrestling Junior feeder, the Parker Sons of Thunder, is just plain amazing. Guided by Coach Jeff Estrada, the program is gaining national notoriety among Wrestling Connosiers. Trackwrestling, the most used web source for scorekeeping in our sport has a point system that calculates success of a program. Trackwrestling assigns points that Wrestlers can acquire through placing at national tournaments. Recently, based off of objective data, Trackwrestling ranked PSOT the #1 ranked program in the NATION!!!

Coach Estrada has done an amazing job of creating a national powerhouse in 3 years. He has galvanized the parents of his Wrestlers. These parents are easily the smartest and hardest working in the country. He has put together the best assistants in the state in Luke Morris, Rocky “Balboa”, and Jesse Branham.

Most importantly, the Wrestlers of PSOT are the best on and off the mat. The culture of PSOT has created kids who have character, maturity, and a strong work ethic.

Ponderosa Wrestling has enjoyed unprecedented success in the state of Colorado. Dont be surprised in a few years that we see that success at the national level!
Macedog Golf Tournament!

The 8th annual Macedog Golf Tournament will be held at Heritage Eagle Bend on the morning of Friday, July 29th. Please mark this day on your calendars and get together a foursome. This is a fun event that commemorates an amazing young man while raising much needed funds to keep the Macedog Bus operational!
